They Really Are Saying LUUUKE

"I tell you what, the big fella's got me a little excited, too." - Bucky Bockhorn

Me too, Bucky. Me too.

Luke Fabrizius has five first-half three pointers as the Flyers take a 13-point lead into halftime tonight against Duquesne.

Amazing. This game was nip-and-tuck until Mr. Fabrizius started raining threes.

Hopefully, the good times keep rolling.

Why couldn't(F)Luke Fab play like that all season? Though I guess if he's going to go on a hot streak, now is as good a time as any.

How is it that our starting center can't dunk, but he can bust out a decent vertical to stage dive into the student section?

Anyone else at the game see that? By far the highest Kurt has jumped in his three years at Dayton.

Of course Fabrizius does this in the only game in months I couldn't see.

He gets full marks from me. I can't say he was a road cone against Xavier and then not give him credit for an impressive effort against Duquesne.

I hope it wasn't a one-time thing.

PS - How about the women's basketball Flyers beating Xavier on Saturday? They reached 20 wins but lost today in the semis to Richmond. Maybe they can get another WNIT bid. Jim Jabir has them in the right direction.

I was watching a bit of that women's game on CBS College. Flyers had a 20 point lead in the first half and still lost. I think they ran out of gas in the second half.

Would have been cool to have both teams in the dance.

We all knew that it was just a matter of time before Luke did this.

Yeah, right. Bring on the drug test!
